Lake Greenwood
Out of the blue you find a perfect place to call home.
With more than 200 miles of shoreline and 11,400 acre of surface area, Lake Greenwood is one of the larger lakes in the state of South Carolina. The lake runs 20 miles in length, and has a mean depth of 21 feet, plenty of room for sailing, jet skiing, water skiing, canoeing or kayaking.
And of course there is fishing! Anglers pursue largemouth bass, crappie, pickerel or bream. Whether you explore the lake with your bass boat or just drop a line from your dock, fishing here is always a pleasure. And don't forget to dangle your legs off your dock and "fish for bream with bread between your toes", that's a tickle you'll never forget!
Lake Greenwood is part of the Saluda - Reedy Watershed. Your home at Summer Pointe is just a short canoe trip from Lake Greenwood State Park, a pristine environment for more family fun hiking, camping and exploring nature. The 914-acre park has five peninsulas that extend into the lake to provide long expanses of protected shoreline.
